LeBron James is ready to make some business moves and he is making it known to NBA commissioner, Adam Silver . James and the Los Angeles Lakers recently met the Phoenix Suns for a preseason match in Las Vegas.

After the game, James was vocal about his goal to one day own an NBA team in Las Vegas. At the post-match press conference, James was asked to clarify his desires which he called Vegas, "It’s the best fan base in the world, and I would love to bring a team here at some point. That would be amazing.” To make sure that he was serious about his remarks, James calls out the NBA commissioner adding,

"I know Adam is in Abu Dhabi right now, I believe, with the [Milwaukee Bucks] and [Atlanta Hawks], but he probably sees every single interview and transcript that comes through from NBA players. So I want the team here, Adam. Thank you."

His desire to bring a team out to Las Vegas comes as no surprise. In an episode of The Shop: Uninterrupted, James revealed, "I want a team in Vegas." In response to his claims, Silver was asked about this at the annual NBA Finals news conference about expanding the league beyond 30 teams. Silver said, "We are not discussing that at this time. As I said before, at some point, this league invariably will expand, but it's not at this moment that we are discussing it."

Lately, James has made several business moves to involve himself across various sports ownership, including a minor stake in the English Premier League team, Liverpool FC. It remains to be seen what else he will add to his roster.

In case you missed it, LeBron James recently acquired a major league pickleball team.
