LeBron James Museum in Akron to open for tours Nov. 25 inside House Three Thirty

The museum dedicated to that "just a kid from Akron" is ready to open and welcome visitors.
The LeBron James' Home Court museum is tucked in the lower level of House Three Thirty, located in the former Tangier entertainment complex.
The museum will open to the public Nov. 25.

The museum will take visitors on a multimedia journey of the athlete's life from growing up in Akron's Spring Hill neighborhood to taking the court at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School to being drafted by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
It will also chronical his NBA journey from Cleveland to Miami back to Cleveland and now Los Angeles.
Guests also will learn about his off-the-court philanthropy through his foundation's work to help Akron school kids and also his business ventures and impact in the entertainment world.
Like the other venues inside the House Three Thirty that includes a Starbucks and a gift shop, proceeds from the museum will benefit those who are part of the foundation's job and career training programs.
How much does LeBron's museum cost to tour?
Tickets are aptly priced at $23 − matching his uniform number in Cleveland.
Children ages 5 or under are admitted for free.
Special reservations are required for large groups over 25 people and for private tours. They can be arranged by calling 330-572-2885.
When is the LeBron James' Home Court museum open?
The museum's first official day is Nov. 25.
The initial hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Tickets are reserved in half hour timeslots starting at 9 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m.
Reservations can be made online or purchased at the House Three Thirty as long as slots are available.
