LeBron James tweeted 3 words after the Kyrie Irving trade, and NBA fans roasted him
Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James was in his feelings on Sunday night after watching his old Cleveland teammate Kyrie Irving get traded to the Dallas Mavericks.
As the Irving trade set the NBA ablaze on Sunday, James found himself on the losing end of the massive transaction. The Lakers were pegged as a possible trade destination for Irving, but it was not meant to be.
The lowly Lakers needed a massive star like Irving to get their Western Conference hopes back in action, even though trading for Irving comes with sizeable baggage.
However, James took the mantle as the Laker of Constant Sorrow with the most depressing Tweet you’re bound to see this week.
People could only feel so sorry for James, who is one of the most decorated and lauded professional athletes of all time. He’s won four championships, four NBA MVP honors and jockeys back-and-forth with Michael Jordan for G.O.A.T. honors.
As you can expect, NBA fans didn’t hold back in poking fun at James for his sad boy Tweet:
