The Tangier is gone.

House Three Thirty now calls the iconic address on Akron's West Market Street home.

About the only space within the old restaurant and lounge that will remain familiar to those who have yet to visit the place LeBron James' foundation has rebuilt is the Cabaret.

To celebrate the rebirth of the former Tangier, House Three Thirty's opening show in the restored Cabaret is a performer who was a frequent headliner there for four decades.

Frankie Scinta will bring his solo act "The Showman" to the House Three Thirty Cabaret for two nights on June 16 and 17.

The Las Vegas-style show features songs, some old and some new, along with comedy and some impersonations mixed in.

This will mark the return of shows to the Cabaret for the first time since the former Tangier was purchased by The LeBron James' Family Foundation, which plans to use the space as a job training site, with Starbucks and future eateries for the Akron kids and families it's helping.

Future plans for House Three Thirty that is now open to the public include a LeBron James Museum and even a large sports bar fit for an NBA King who once called Akron home.

“We’re incredibly excited to have an iconic performer like Frankie Scinta help us kickoff a new era of world-class events at House Three Thirty,” said Michele Campbell, foundation executive director in a statement. “He’s been a fan-favorite in Akron for so long, we can think of no better way to welcome our community back into the Cabaret for this one-of-a-kind experience we know will be the first of many memorable musical acts to come this summer and beyond.”
