Lee County All-Stars win best-of-three series with Albany
Jun. 19—The Lee County 11- and 12-year-old All Stars won their series over the Albany All Stars last week, rolling to a Game 3 victory by an 11-0 margin.
Lee posted a 7-2 victory in Game 1 on Monday, June 13 before an impending storm moved Games 2 and 3 to a doubleheader on Wednesday, June 15. Albany pulled out a 9-5 victory in Game 2 before Lee bounced back for the decisive victory in the best-of-three matchup.
Conley Hall, who pitched a complete game victory in the finale, had a first-inning grand slam in Game 3 and added another homer later in the win.
