Lee County's Kason Hooks commits to Air Force
Sep. 6—Lee County senior Kason Hooks plans to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy, committing Tuesday to the Air Force Falcons football program.
Hooks is a 6-foot-1, 170-pound cornerback and safety for Lee, which is 3-0 on the young season after convincing wins over Warner Robins (26-10), Hapeville Charter (37-0) and Lithia Springs (41-7). He also competes as a sprinter and hurdler for the Trojans' track and field team, reaching the state finals in the 300 hurdles last season. He also maintains a 3.8 GPA.
