Lee Pace went to this year's Met Gala in a black-tie short suit by Thom Browne, but if you look closely, it looks like that wasn't the only thing the out actor was rocking while walking the red carpet for fashion's biggest night! If you're an eagle-eyed stan (like we are), then you'll notice that the Marvel and The Hobbit star was also showing off some major hardware on his ring finger!

Taking to Instagram, the 42-year-old actor shared some pics of his outfit from Monday night's exclusive celebrity affair, thanking designer Thom Browne and his partner Andrew Bolton (the head curator of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, where the Met Gala is held) for inviting him out for the evening.

"It was a night to remember," Pace wrote in his Insta caption.

Though the main focus was obviously Lee (and his knees) looking handsome AF in one of Thom's signature short suits, we couldn't help but notice that Pace was also stepping his accessory game up, wearing some Fred Leighton diamonds around his left wrist and showing off what looks to be a gold band on his left ring finger — the finger someone traditionally wears a ring on when they are married.

Though Pace, who has been notoriously private about his personal life from the early stages of his career (especially after having to publicly come out in a 2018 interview with W where he was asked directly about his sexuality), has yet to make any kind of public statement about whether or not he is in fact married or if the ring on his finger was just simply a regular ring, we do know that Pace recently posted photos of him and of his longtime boyfriend Matthew Foley (who, according to his Instagram profile, is a VP of communications at Thom Browne) on a camping trip that had the internet swooning and rooting for them.

Esquire UK even profiled Pace while he was getting fitted for the suit at Thom Browne's NYC headquarters a few days prior to the Met Gala, but there was no indication or mention whatsoever about what kind of jewelry or accessories Pace was planning to wear for the night.

Whatever the case may be, there's no denying the short suit — and the ring — was a good look for Lee!
