Lee’s Summit police looking for suspect after bank robbery
LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. — Officers are investigating after a bank robbery in Lee’s Summit on Friday morning.
Around 11:30 a.m., Lee’s Summit police officers responded to the Central Bank of the Midwest off NE Woods Chapel Road in regard to a robbery that had just occurred.

Investigations revealed that one suspect entered the bank and demanded money before leaving on foot with an unknown amount of money.
Police did not give a description of the suspect.
There were no injuries during the incident. The robbery is still under investigation.
