Leesburg, Boys & Girls Club hosting grand opening of city's Teen Enrichment Center

LEESBURG — The City of Leesburg and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida are hosting a grand opening of the city's new Teen Enrichment Center.

The event is set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Leesburg Recreational Complex, 1851 Griffin Road.

The new teen center is an addition to the city's recreation center. It was a partnership between the city and the nonprofit organization and will serve as the club's new Leesburg location.

The 10,045-square-foot building includes "multipurpose rooms to accommodate recreational, educational and enrichment programs for elementary, middle and high school students," according to a press release from the city.
