Leflore County man pleads guilty to federal firearm charge

LEFLORE COUNTY, Okla. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Leflore County man pleaded guilty to a federal firearm charge on Saturday, according to a press release.

Christopher Knight, 42, of Spiro pleaded guilty to felon in possession of a firearm for an incident that occurred back in Dec. 2022.

In 2022, Knight was convicted of a crime punishable by a term of imprisonment exceeding one year.

Knowing of this conviction, he possessed a 9mm semi-automatic pistol.

Knight will remain in the custody of the U.S. Marshal pending sentencing.
