What, like it’s hard?

The cast of “Legally Blonde” had no trouble spilling the beans Tuesday about the hotly anticipated third film in the franchise during their virtual cast reunion, nearly two decades after the original film hit theaters.

“Legally Blonde 3,” which will be penned by Mindy Kaling and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” co-creator Dan Goor, will sashay its way into theaters in May 2022, the cast announced.

Reese Witherspoon, who starred as bubbly blonde Harvard Law student Elle Woods, kicked off the reunion by noting that the 2001 romantic comedy “comes up more than any other” film she’s made.

Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, which produced the franchise’s first two films, confirmed in a Tuesday night tweet: “Elle Woods is back! Legally Blonde 3 coming May 2022. We rest our case.”

“I think she just inspired people to believe in themselves,” Witherspoon, 44, said of her legally minded alter ego. “She just has a true sense of herself and she always wants to see the best in others. … I think her spirit is something we could all use a little bit more of right now.”

The reunion, which benefited not-for-profit organization World Central Kitchen, included Luke Wilson, Jennifer Coolidge and Selma Blair, and saw the cast reprise Elle’s signature flirty bend and snap and reflect on iconic costumes and scenes.

“Legally Blonde” was followed by “Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde” in 2003, and even got the Broadway treatment when it was adapted for a stage musical in 2007, for which it scored seven Tony nominations, including Best Book of a Musical and Best Original Score.

Back in April, the “Big Little Lies” star hinted heavily at the forthcoming film during a chat with Jennifer Lopez when the singer-actress said there were three “Legally Blonde” films.

“There’s two,” Witherspoon said politely, adding, “But I’m thinking we might be working on a three.”

“I can’t tell you what it means to me to see your faces,” Witherspoon said tearing up. “This was my college. This is where I went to college. I didn’t finish college, but I finished ‘Legally Blonde.’ And we all got together and made this movie together that has inspired so many young people. And it’s just such a gift.”
