YORK, Maine — Williams Realty Partners of Keller Williams Coastal and Lakes & Mountains (WRP) concluded its annual winter coat drive.

Several hundred winter coats, boots, hats, gloves and other cold weather gear were collected at the real estate company’s new home at 1000 U.S. Route One in York. The outerwear was transported to York County Community Action Corporation in Kittery for distribution to those in need throughout York County.

“You’d be surprised at how many people don’t have the most basic things to get them through a Maine winter, said Troy Williams, one of the owners of Williams Realty Partners. “Sometimes, an entire family will come into a YCCAC office with nothing, and walk out again with coats, boots and hats for everyone. Thanks to the generosity of the people of York and surrounding towns, we’re able to help meet that kind of fundamental need every year.”

In 2022/2023, the York Wildcat Girls Hockey Team joined the Williams Realty Partners Coat Drive to collect and donate a wide assortment of adult and children’s winter apparel. The team was happy to assist in the mission and hopes to help in the years to come.
