A short teaser trailer for LEGO Jurassic World has gone live to mark the announcement that the adventure game will release in the summer across multiple platforms.

The CG video, shown above, marries the iconic roar of the original movie's T-Rex with the LEGO series' signature sense of humor. There is currently no video on how the game plays, though it will cover the events of the original Jurassic Park trilogy, as well as the new film, Jurassic World, that's due to hit cinemas on June 12.

LEGO Jurassic World is in development for all major games platforms; PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and PlayStation Vita. The project itself is the result of a joint business venture between publisher Warner Bros, developer TT Games, licensor The LEGO Group, and film rights holder Universal Pictures.

Warner Bros has disclosed a brief outline of gameplay, writing that LEGO Jurassic World depicts famous scenes and action sequences from the films, as well as giving players the chance to play as dinosaurs. Gamers can also collect amber, which contains dinosaur DNA, and then create their own custom species.
