It's time to hit the colorful bricks. Just in time for Veterans Day, Legoland Florida, in partnership with Visit Florida, is honoring active and retired members of the military — and first responders — with a free day at the park and 50% tickets for up to six guests visiting with them.

Service members and their families also can get deals on hotel stays at select Legoland Florida hotels.

What is Legoland?

Like LEGOs themselves, the Legoland theme park in Winter Haven, Florida is always changing and building. Florida's is the second-largest Legoland in the world after the one in the U.K. The Winter Haven park is in the old Cypress Gardens location.

There are more than 55 rides, shows and attractions including the Battle of Bricksburg, the Safari Trek, the Lost Kingdom Adventure, LEGO Ninjago World, the new Pirate River Quest and many more. Get your personalized driver's license in the Ford Driving School or build creatures in the interactive LEGO DREAMZzz experience.

Legoland also has two other parks, the Legoland Water Park and the Peppa Pig Theme Park.
