Leighton Meester and Adam Brody Had a Rare Red Carpet Date Night
Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are one of Hollywood's most private couples, but they made a rare public appearance together at last night's Ready Or Not premiere in Los Angeles. Brody was dressed in a black suit with a thin plaid tie, while Meester wore a silk peach and purple belted dress.
The outing comes days after Brody was photographed with Rachel Bilson, sparking a mini The O.C. reunion. Bilson and Brody, of course, played the series' iconic teen couple, Seth Cohen and Summer Roberts. "Ran into my ol buddy from jfk to lax #californiaherewecome🤓," she captioned her Instagram.

Meester is also a former teen star, the original Gossip Girl's Blair Waldorf. She and Brody spoke to Entertainment Tonight in 2017 about whether they ever laugh at the notion that their characters Seth Cohen and Blair Waldorf ended up together. “Occasionally,” Brody said. Then he joked, “Once a year, randomly, on our Seth and Blair day. It’s good for a laugh.”
Meester said more seriously. “It doesn't excite us, I think, because we're just human beings... but it's exciting to us that it's exciting to you. It’s cool.” They said they didn't watch each other's shows.

Their last formal red carpet appearance together was back in March. The couple attended the premiere of SHAZAM! together. Brody was in a burgundy suit with a grey top, while Meester complemented him in a long-sleeved red patterned dress. She wore black heels and carried a matching black clutch:
