If you want to skip cooking this Thanksgiving Day, you've got a few options of restaurants that will be open in the Athens area.

Whether you are searching for a traditional turkey dinner or looking for a more non-traditional Thanksgiving option, there is a variety available.

The Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 1913 Epps Bridge Pkwy., Athens

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store will offer a traditional sit-down Thanksgiving Day meal, along with a limited menu of regular items.

The Cafe on Lumpkin

Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 1700 S. Lumpkin St., Athens

Cantaritos Cafe

Hours are 7:30a.m. to 3p.m. at 2467 Jefferson Rd., Athens

The Waffle House will offer their regular menu items such as waffles, eggs, hash browns, steak and sandwiches.

IHOP

Various locations, check ahead of time for hours of operation

IHOP will serve its regular menu, yet will also offer a few Thanksgiving Day specials. You can choose between a homestyle turkey and stuffing dinner with two sides or a homestyle turkey and stuffing melt with turkey gravy and one side. Both include turkey, cornbread stuffing and cranberry sauce.
