Let’s Go, South Florida: Hibachi chef takes his cooking and comedy on the road, food truck style

Our new weekly video series, Let’s Go, South Florida, tracks down a hibachi food truck that will fill you up with some belly laughs. And maybe a dashi of inspiration.

Filipino hibachi chef Emmanuel Carpio sits down with host Arlene Borenstein to talk about following the flame of starting his own business during a pandemic. Carpio, known for his cooking and comedy, left the hibachi restaurant life to launch G’s Hibachi food truck, bringing a loyal fan following with him.

Carpio’s food truck now stops at breweries and neighborhoods around Palm Beach County and anyone in South Florida can book him for a private party.
