Celebrity couple's breakup ignites explosive fight within community: 'Get this kid off the internet'
Though TikTok’s top star Charli D’Amelio and her boyfriend Chase “Lil Huddy” Hudson broke up back in April, the drama has just begun to unfold.
Hudson has been accused of cheating on D’Amelio with Nessa Barrett, another TikToker who broke up with social media star Josh Richards in late June. The cheating allegedly took place in April, but rumors came to a head on July 6.
As people began sharing their theories and members of the famed Hype House began unfollowing each other on social media, Hudson took to Twitter. He’s since deleted the tweets, but of course, screenshots are forever.

Hudson accused many of his famous friends, such as Anthony Reeves, Jaden Hossler, Griffin Johnson, Bryce Hall, Kio Cyr and Josh Richards, of cheating and other shady behavior in relationships.
Those TikTok users are members of the Sway House — a creator collective like the Hype House that Hudson is a part of (and D’Amelio left after their breakup).
Hudson apologized to D’Amelio for his actions before doubling down on the claims he made.
“The only person who has a right to be upset with me is Charli and I’m sorry I hurt her. We broke up and I messed up by kissing Nessa,” he said. “I’m not going to let these hypocrites try to ruin my life without their lives being out on the internet too.”
D’Amelio swiftly responded with a quote tweet.
then you shouldn’t have come to my house after without telling me... https://t.co/GGzsFlaFDs

“Then you shouldn’t have come to my house after without telling me …” she said in reference to Hudson’s admission that he kissed Barrett.
A few hours later, D’Amelio posted another statement on Twitter.
stop deflecting you’re actions onto others because you can’t take responsibility chase. want me to talk about how you treated me throughout our relationship or do you just want to continue to play the victim? https://t.co/KvLB5oL3Xy

“Stop deflecting you’re actions onto others because you can’t take responsibility chase. want me to talk about how you treated me throughout our relationship or do you just want to continue to play the victim,” she wrote.
Responses from other TikTokers that Hudson made accusations about have since poured in.
From Richards, who Barrett allegedly cheated on with Hudson:
Sometimes you need to cut out the fake people in your life.
You give them fucking 2nd chances and they go behind you’re back and try and fuck with you again.
Biggest advice I have for you all, learn who’s real!
Wish everyone the best and hope they all succeed.— Josh (@JoshRichards) July 6, 2020
From Hossler, who Hudson claimed “actively tried to hook up” with D’Amelio’s sister Dixie while she was dating Griffin Johnson:
boy you need to ONE stop lying and giving half the truth to make yourself look better
and TWO when we pulled up and confronted you in person you didn’t say shit except you were wrong
sit down and be quiet on social media if you aren’t gonna talk in person
sad https://t.co/P6xLnwZ42J— jxdn (@jadenhossler) July 6, 2020
From Reeves, who Hudson said cheated on Dixie D’Amelio with multiple different people, including Hall’s ex-girlfriend.
literally 4Billion+ girls in this world and you choose the ones your homies dated? never made sense man😔🤚🏼

And finally, from Johnson, who summarized much of the internet’s thinking about the entire debacle:
someone get this kid off the internet
— Griffin Johnson (@lmgriffjohnson) July 7, 2020
Hudson hasn’t commented on the matter since he deleted all of his tweets, but he did retweet a post from Hossler that said “we talked. No fighting. It’s settled.”
It’s not clear where the relationships between other TikTokers stand at the moment with all of these allegations still fresh in the minds of their millions of followers, but we have a feeling it’s not quite “settled” yet.
