BROOKINGS — South Dakota State University standout Myah Selland was not one of the 36 players selected in the WNBA Draft on Thursday night.

The 6-foot-1 forward from Letcher was predicted by some outlets to become the third Jackrabbit player drafted in the WBNA, joining Megan Vogel (Second round, Washington Mystics, 2007) and Macy Miller (Third round, Seattle Storm, 2019).

Selland finished her career as the second-leading scorer in SDSU history with 2,167 points. She is also third in games played (153), fourth in rebounds (887), fifth in assists (452) and sixth in field-goal percentage (.515 percent).

Selland could still hook on a free agent with a WNBA team or play professionally overseas.
