Let's hear it for the dogs: Paw Fest 2023 returns to Stow's Bow Wow Beach Dog Park

The Stow-Munroe Falls Lions Club invites all dog lovers to the 16th Annual Paw Fest Fundraiser on Sunday, Sept. 17, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the city of Stow’s Bow Wow Beach Dog Park, 5027 Stow Road in Stow.

Admission is free; parking is $1 per car or a donation of used eyeglasses.

Dog owners can enter their pooch into one of the event's contests: best dog costume in a parade; best dog football costume; best howling dog; shortest dog tail and longest dog tail. During the fundraiser, Stow K-9s and their handlers will provide demonstrations. Attendees will also have the chance to hear “Tater Tot” from Summit County Court and "Cinnamon Coulter" from Pilot Dogs explain their programs.

The event will include several rescue groups, Summit County Humane Society and Summit County Animal Control, vendors, and food trucks. Tickets will be available for the annual gift raffle as well.

Bulldog Bags will be collecting donations of macaroni and cheese cups; 32 oz. pancake mix and bars of soap.
