LETTER: Biden has done a lot, need more Dems in office

Editor, Register-Mail: No shortage of crises in USA or world today. There's an extreme shortage of baby formula, due to Abbott Nutrition Labs shutting down their production in February, due to contaminated products. Abbott has reach an agreement with FDA to resume production. In the meanwhile, President Biden has invoked the Defense Production Act to boost supply and distribution of special formula, for all infants and some older children, and for those with rare afflictions requiring special life-or-death nutrition formulas. Biden is enacting "Open Fly Formula," to utilize U.S. aircraft to obtain and fly formula from Europe to United States. Remember, President Biden also invoked the 'DPA' shortly after his inauguration, to accelerate private industries' manufacture and distribution of crucial vaccines to protect against the COVID-19 threat, and to increase supply of masks, shields and gloves. Biden issued two executive orders early on to combat the threat of the global pandemic to Americans, and provided FREE, safe, effective vaccines to all who wanted them and reopened schools.

President Biden ended our $3 trillion, 20-year involvement in the Afghanistan war, costing 2,448 U.S. military deaths. Biden has re-established respect with our allies worldwide; those allies joining us in providing assistance to Ukraine, in fighting off Russia's deadly aggressions; many Ukrainians murdered, many taken hostage. The world's responses to Putin's unprovoked war created a huge oil dilemma, spiraling gas prices globally. Biden's releasing a million barrels of oil daily from our Strategic Petroleum Reserves, attempting to mitigate gas prices for Americans. We're paying down the deficit! Biden and Dems are trying to reduce the price of pharmaceuticals for everyone, make corporations pay their fair share, to expand our economy, but we need more Democrats, not less, in all seats in government.
