After McCarthy’s “temper tantrum” speech which passed the 90-minute mark, the House recently passed President Biden’s the Build Back Better bill.

For too long the economy has worked great for those at the top, while working families got squeezed.

President Biden promised to rebuild the middle class, since the middle class is the backbone of the country.

It is incredible that the Republicans are against the bill that its framework is fully paid for and will set the United States on course to the largest efforts to combat climate change, create good-paying jobs, invest in children and caregivers, expand affordable health care, stop rewarding corporations, promote nutrition security to support children’s health, expand access to affordable high-quality education beyond high school, comprehensive investment in affordable housing, expand Medicare to cover hearing benefits, provide universal and free preschool for all 3- and 4-year olds.

President Biden needs the support of all 50 Democrat senators, and Vice President Harris’ tie-breaking vote to pass the bill without Republican support through a legislative process called reconciliation that bypasses a filibuster.

If you are an American who cares about the children, the seniors, the workers, then the Build Back Better bill is for you.
