LETTER: Dysfunctional Democrats failing America
Editor, Register-Mail: Different year same theme! Dysfunctional Democrats are failing America in almost every area. The progressives are paving the way to hell with their liberal policies and with the bodies of our unborn.
Let's start the new year right and determine to make a change in Washington in November and a change in who is in control of our government. An end to "choice" death in the womb also. The handiwork of the devil is condoned in the Democratic Party's platform. Roe vs Wade is, by far, the worst SCOTUS decision since the Dred Scott ruling in the second half of the 19th century. Neither ruling was Constitutional. What does a "right to privacy" have to do with dissecting babies in the womb? The Democratic Party has become, not only the party of welfare but the party of death in the womb.
The Dems no longer favor workers but favor those unwilling to work. Welfare and free money buy votes and open borders bring in future Democrats as they pour across our borders. When are moderate Democrats going to wake up and stop living in an alternative liberal dimension? The Dems' Voting Rights Act is a ploy to game elections in their favor by allowing unidentified individuals to vote and by stacking ballots. We may not be able to choose who our parents are, or our skin color, but we can choose who our elected officials are, but only if the election process is not rigged. Those who are born in America or become legal citizens in a lawful manner are indeed lottery winners. America is the greatest and freest country in the world. Why else do so many want to immigrate here?
Side note: The liberal Democrats support criminals! Their dimwitted policies support defunding the police, releasing felons without bail, having no, or little consequence for looting, rioting, smash-and-grab robberies, open borders and other criminal activities. This is the America of the future if Democrats remain in charge. Dysfunction will continue to reign!
Side note: Chuck Schumer was adamantly against doing away with the filibuster when that would favor the Republicans. Now that it would favor the Democrats, he wants to do just that. Hypocritical? Your bet! — Thomas Mosher, Victoria
