Especially in this Thanksgiving/Christmas season, is there anything more basic and precious than a safe, descent home…..a place of warmth, protection, and love? Simply nailing boards together can’t guarantee that definition of home. But something that goes a long way in that direction is when hundreds of volunteers, who know the true gift of home themselves, give their time to create that for another family! Orange County Habitat for Humanity will celebrate with the Shalkowski family and dedicate their new home at 282 W Jefferson St, Orleans, on Dec. 11, 10:30 a.m. We are so grateful to all the “homebuilders” out there who donated funds and volunteered their time! We give special thanks to the following groups, each who formed a crew to help construct this home:
Mt Horeb Baptist
Hoosier Hills Credit Union
Chris Terrell Construction
ElectriCom
Orleans First Baptist
Orange County Catholic Community
Christian Cowboys
Bonds Chapel United Methodist
