Letter to the editor: Don't let noncitizens vote

I cannot understand why anyone would want to allow noncitizens to vote. If these noncitizens were interested in the status of our country, they would have become citizens.

Also the Constitution states that every citizen 18 and older can vote. Why would we want to change that? If these people would be allowed to vote, they could easily be influenced to vote for the wrong things.

Our country is in enough trouble already. We have taken God out of everything and are continually choosing to change or add things which are tearing our country apart. The Constitution is just fine the way it was originally set and if we would get back to seeking guidance from God instead of choosing the way of the world, our country would be a much better place.

I pray that in the coming election we would check the background of those running for office.
