Nearly everyone wants the American Dream of peace, fairness, personal freedom, equal opportunity, and a standard of living and quality of life with a guaranteed floor and no real ceiling which reliably improve over time for everyone. Realizing and sustaining the American Dream takes sound popular self-governance.

Sound self-governance requires and ensures thoroughly inclusive informed public insistence upon fairness, competence, requisite transparency, and public interest accountability. In our unique and precious USA popular sovereign self-governance, this is accomplished by confining our government and major corporations within a systemic interactive public budget planning, legal adoption, and enforcement internal control process. Conscientiously applied, this process reliably ensure inclusive public informed consent to what they say they are trying to do and what they are actually doing.

Our state laws and regulations, though inadequately clear and enforced, have generally mandated this process for our state and local governments for nearly 100 years. It is urgently important that many more of us participate in better enforcing it on them and extending it to our federal government and major corporations.
