Letter: Fayetteville reader decries ‘hyper-partisanship’

In response to the Observer Forum question about our New Year's resolutions (Jan. 9, 2022): I resolve to avoid biased “news” sources on TV and the internet. I will stay informed by watching the traditional TV network news stations instead of the polarized, partisan programs on the cable news channels.

I will regularly check The Fayetteville Observer headlines along with Spectrum News channel 14 for developments in North Carolina. Hyper-partisanship is tearing Americans apart and damaging our country.

I will support the Freedom to Vote Act and encourage everyone to VOTE during the midterm elections this coming November. The future of our democratic republic may depend on everyone’s vote.
