Michael Leppert wrote a column in the H-T recently criticizing Rep. Lauren Boebert for "hateful rhetoric" toward Rep. Ilhan Omar. While I don't condone hateful rhetoric of any kind, I believe Mr. Leppert left out an important fact — that Ilhan Omar has had her own "hateful rhetoric" against Israel. This kind of conduct is not limited to the GOP as he depicts, but is evident on both sides of the aisle.

If Rep. Boebert is censured or removed from committees, then so should Rep. Omar. Her rebuke of Israel is inappropriate behavior as a representative. She also is eager to "dismantle" the police in Minnesota, while being protected herself by private security. "What's good for the goose is good for the gander!"
