Letter: Media and Democratic party
Considering that former president Obama, a charismatic, electrifying orator, could attract large, enthusiastic crowds on the campaign trail, how does his campaign of 2012 compare with Biden’s masked, subdued campaign of 2020?
Obama was re-elected with 69 million votes – 873 counties – and won the crucial states of Florida and Ohio.
Biden was elected with 81 million votes – 477 counties – and lost both Florida and Ohio.
Biden’s basement campaign bested Obama’s campaign by 12 million votes.
When officials in key states sent out bundles of unsolicited (unsolicited!) mail-in ballots in violation of states’ law, it begs the question, why didn’t the states’ legislators, FBI, DOJ, or judges intervene? The Republicans, as usual, were out to lunch.
If protestors in the Capitol were arrested for trespassing, how does that jibe with video footage of a Capitol policeman beckoning with his arm for the crowd to enter the Capitol? Other revealing video footage of that day has been shown on Greg Kelly Reports, on Newsmax TV.
Whereas the mainstream media portrayed the violent riots that swept the country in the summer of 2020 – riots that claimed more than 20 lives, and caused $2 billion in property damage – as “mostly peaceful,” the few hours of a protest that caused little damage at the Capitol has been presented by the establishment media and our political masters as tantamount to the Civil War, Pearl Harbor, or 9/11.
A monumental tragedy is that the mainstream media and the Democratic Party are tied at the hip – an alliance mindful of the quote, ‘Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.’
