Letter: Medicare got billed for COVID-19 tests I didn't ask for

Over the last couple of months I began receiving COVID tests, and now have 40 tests that I did not request; some are now expired. I have received tests manufactured by three different companies. I also noticed that my Medicare account was billed and Medicare paid for these tests. So they are not free, Medicare paid $90 for each set of eight tests.

They are being shipped by different companies and the notes inside state to call various telephone numbers or scan a code to stop the mailings.

But when a number was called I was told that the call line could not accept calls at that time. I wrote to Senators Casey and Fetterman, and Congressman Cartwright, no response yet.

Sure looks like a scam to me.

I wonder how many others are receiving COVID tests that they did not request, nor require at this time, and why so many?
