Letter: U.S. should 'weaponize' the Constitution to protect system

The word "weaponize" has been overused and misunderstood recently by various local and national politicians and commentators who always seem to suggest that weaponizing is bad.

"Weaponizing the Justice Department" is a phrase commonly heard in recent weeks.

But weaponizing can be a good and proper thing. It is incumbent upon high officials to weaponize with all needed force the Constitution and all laws subservient to it, against those who would subvert free and fair elections with lies, slander and violent actions against the United States government.

Without such weaponization, the U.S. would long ago have ceased to be a sovereign nation.
