GOP, Donnie Jr, Musk, Hammer and Men’s Underpants

What do these things have in common? Well, in a sane/loving world, they would have nothing at all, in common. But in a GOP world, these ingredients are seamlessly melted into a ‘party’ that has nothing to offer but hate and lies. The Paul Pelosi attack recently showcased this hate and GOP moral bankruptcy.

Police said that Paul Pelosi’s attacker David DePape wrestled a hammer from Pelosi inside their home in the Pacific Heights neighborhood and struck him several times. The 82-year-old husband of the speaker was hospitalized but expected to recover.

This attack is terrifying, and the direct result of toxic right-wing rhetoric and incitement against Speaker Pelosi and so many other progressive leaders,” said state Sen. Scott Wiener, a San Francisco Democrat who had encountered DePape before the attack. “Words have consequences, and without question, the GOP’s hate and extremism has bred political violence.”

Some web users are falsely claiming that Paul Pelosi and the suspect who attacked him are gay lovers. Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, tweeted then deleted this unfounded conspiracy theory published by the Santa Monica Observer.

"Just hours removed from the news that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband had been attacked at the couple’s San Francisco home, Gov. Glenn Youngkin was campaigning for fellow Virginia Republican Yesli Vega. Youngkin said this: “….we’re gonna send her back to be with him in California. That’s what we’re going to go do.” CNN reported that the intruder shouted “Where is Nancy?” before the attack and tried to tie Paul Pelosi up until his wife got home. The man suspected of the attack posted memes and conspiracy theories on social media about Covid-19, the 2020 election and the January 6, 2021, riot at the US Capitol."

Donnie Trump Jr, posted a photo of a hammer and a pair of men’s underpants, as a Halloween costume suggestion. And this is the son of a past, Impeached Republican President of the USA.

His father questioned the police being at the scene so quickly.

No commentary is needed on this.
