J.D. Vance attacked all federal employees
The new senator from Ohio is threatening to not do his job and playing political games when he said he will block appointments to the U.S. Department of Justice. I sent him a message via his website www.vance.senate.gov and encourage others to do so as well.
Federal employees are apolitical; they are not partisan.
Another view: J.D. Vance's unhinged support of Donald Trump is embarrassing
His job is to handle the business of government, that includes voting for appointments for federal positions brought before Congress. He should be voting based on qualifications - NOT politics. His comments and threats are attacks on all federal employees and show that he is not serious about helping this government to run efficiently.
He needs to put the politics aside and do his job, just like all federal employees do every day.

Jim Jordan is a shameful buckeye
Apparently, Jim Jordan does not believe in law and order as he would lead you to believe.
His whining about poor Donald Trump is proof of that as Trump has been caught yet again breaking laws by the gross.

Why should we follow the laws ourselves when, apparently, Republicans are above the law. If Jordan were a true patriot, he would resign and go into business somewhere else.
He is an embarrassment to this state, and I am ashamed to let people know I live close to his hometown.

Put the country first
The DeWine administration and all of us can question the addictiveness and dangerousness of social media on children and young people, but we would hope that they are equally concerned about the online bullying, hate speech, misinformation, and the harmful effects of its excessive use by their indicted presumptive presidential party candidate.
Is putting the country before party too much to ask?
Meanwhile the mental health of all of us is suffering.

Full disclosure, I think Donald Trump is a dangerous and dishonest man.
Having said that, I recognize that many others have a different view of him. A difference of opinion is healthy in a democracy if the opinions are fact-based.

When one opinion ignores obvious information, we then have a difference of reality which is not desirable. The current situation the former president finds himself in is one of his own makings.
For a guy who claims to be so tough he plays the victim very well.
For many, he has succeeded in convincing them that he is being unfairly targeted by a biased Department of Justice; this is a tactic he has used his entire life to avoid accountability for his misdeeds.
Being from New York and 75 years old I have seen a great deal of Trump’s actions, creating doubt in the credibility of those who come after him for misdeeds is his standard operating procedure.
Both Pence and Biden were sloppy with documents but neither obstructed federal investigation, knowingly lied about having documents or shared their contents with others. There is a vast difference between what they have done and what Trump has done.
