Levitt AMP returns with 10 weeks of free summer concerts: Here's the lineup

The Levitt AMP Utica Music Series returns to Kopernik Park this summer for 10 weeks of free, family-friendly outdoor concerts.

The series will run at 5:30 p.m. on Monday nights, June 19 – August 28. There is no concert scheduled for July 3.

“The 2023 season will feature headlining artists from Ireland, Wisconsin, Iowa, Toronto, Massachusetts, Connecticut and right here in New York State,” event officials announced in a statement. “The concerts also feature opening local and regional acts.”

The diverse lineup spans genres like gospel, pop, bluegrass, rock, instrumental, blues, Irish rock and soul. The band lineup is as follows:

  • June 19 - Harlem Gospel Travelers

  • June 26 - Brandon “Taz” Niederauer

  • July 10 - Joe Samba

  • July 17 - Funky Dawgs Brass Band

  • July 24 - Nefresh Mountain Band

  • July 31 - B2wins

  • Aug. 7 - Tae & the Neighborly

  • Aug. 14 - Battle of Santiago

  • Aug. 21 - Erin Harpe & The Delta Swingers

  • Aug. 28 - Hermitage Green

The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties is a founding presenter for the seventh season of live concerts. Partners in the series include Rust 2 Green Utica, DeSales Center, the City of Utica and Munson.

Utica Monday Nite is the fiscal sponsor for the series.

Season sponsors include the CNY Arts, M&T Bank/Partners Trust Bank Charitable Fund, Bank of Utica, Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, Mastrovito Hyundai and The Fountainhead Group.

The public is invited to bring their own blankets and lawn chairs to the concerts. The series will also offer art activities for young concertgoers and food trucks/vendors will be on site.

Kopernik Park is located at 317 Genesee St. at the corner of Eagle Street and Park Avenue near DeSales.

Admission is free and all are welcome.
