Lewis Cass hires new elementary principal

Mar. 10—The Lewis Cass School Corporation introduced Allan Remaly as the new Lewis Cass Elementary School principal Wednesday night during their monthly school board meeting.

Remaly will be paid $82,000 for 210 days which began Feb. 27.

Remaly has worked in education for nearly 30 years, including roles as a social studies teacher and a superintendent. He's been employed by Northwestern, Frankfurt, Rossville, Kokomo, Decatur and Clinton Central schools.

Remaly is a graduate of Rossville High School and earned his bachelor's and master's degree at Purdue University before earning an education specialist degree at Indiana State University.
