Lewis County Young Professionals Relaunching With June 29 Event

Jun. 21—Lewis County Young Professionals (LCYP) — a group intended to foster a community of young professionals under 40 who live or work in Lewis County — has relaunched after a hiatus.

The organization's kick-off event is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. June 29 at The Juice Box in Centralia. Academy Mortgage The Wentworth Group will sponsor the first round of drinks.

The relaunch event is free to attend to "offer an opportunity for interested community members to learn more about the organization and its mission and discover the benefits of becoming a member," according to a news release. "Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with fellow young professionals from diverse backgrounds, industries, and sectors. This networking event will provide a platform to exchange ideas, forge meaningful relationships, and build a valuable support network throughout their professional journeys in Lewis County."

The organizers said in the news release they are thrilled to relaunch Lewis County Young Professionals.

"By bringing together talented individuals from various fields, LCYP aims to contribute to the overall development and prosperity of Lewis County," the group wrote in the release. "We invite all young professionals in the region to join us in shaping the future of our community."

The mission of Lewis County Young Professionals is to cultivate young professionals who live or work in Lewis County through networking, leadership, philanthropy and workforce development.
