The Saucy Crab, which opened in 2021 in the former Texas Roadhouse location at 3029 Richmond Rd. near the Kroger grocery store, has closed, according to owner Sinta Tjahjadi in an email.

Now, the Richmond Road spot is switching to another of Tjahjadi’s concepts: Koi Express, a Japanese hibachi and sushi restaurant that has locations in London, Frankfort and Somerset already, with Lexington and Mount Sterling coming soon.

According to a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page, the Lexington Koi Express will be opening “in the early months of 2024.”
