NORWALK — The Tigers scored two runs in the top of the sixth inning to slip past the host Flyers in a non-league game on Thursday at Norwalk Area Contractors Park.

Thomas Zuccaro was 3 for 4 with an RBI and two runs scored for St. Paul (9-9). He has 15 hits in four games this week.

"Another tough outcome," St. Paul head coach Aaron Fries said. "We are doing a lot of things well right now, but we just make a few mistakes in high leverage moments that are hosting us in these close games — and today was no exception.

"We continue to hit the ball hard, but today it just seemed to be right at kids," he added. "We have a lot of baseball in front of us to see if we can clean up a few things and get on a run."

The Flyers are scheduled to visit Mohawk on Friday before traveling to Plymouth on Monday.
