- A Long Island grocery store reopened today nearly one week after a shooting that left a store employee dead and two workers hurt. Customers see a memorial outside with flowers and a picture of 49-year-old Ray Wishropp, who was gunned down inside the Stop and Shop in West Hempstead last Tuesday. He leaves behind seven children. Inside the store, customers see a second memorial to the victims. The suspected shooter, 31-year-old Gabriel Dewitt Wilson, is now facing murder and attempted murder charges.
