Liam Hemsworth is "happy to be moving on" from Miley Cyrus with Gabriella Brooks
It's been a tumultuous old ride since Miley and Liam broke up this summer, and it's time for one last go-around on this emotional rollercoaster before we hunker down for Christmas. Both Liam and Miley have been linked with several different people since announcing their divorce in August. Miley sent the internet into meltdown when she briefly dated Kaitlynn Carter, before going very Insta-heavy with new boyfriend Cody Simpson.
Liam meanwhile was initially linked to fellow Aussie, actor Maddison Brown, and the pair were spotted kissing and holding hands. Now however, Liam has been papped introducing rumoured new girlfriend, model Gabriella Brooks, to his parents at Byron Bay in Australia, where incidentally she has been 'gramming from. Since then, a source close to Liam told Us Weekly that Liam is "happy to be moving on" from his marriage to Miley. "Liam feels comfortable with Gabriella," they continued. "His family approves of her and really likes her, which is very important to him."
As long as they're both happy, that's all that matters. Although, I won't lie to you, the break-up chipped away at my belief in love a little bit. Not least when the news came out that they'd unfollowed each other on Instagram. But with Liam doing meet-the-parents lunches, and Miley cracking jokes about her short-lived marriage and getting "freedom" knuckle tattoos, it seems like everyone's happy.
