Liam Hemsworth Trolls Brother Chris Hemsworth in Birthday Instagram Post

The move reignited a gentle yet long-lasting sibling rivalry.
Chris Hemsworth turned 39-years-old on Thursday, August 11, and Liam Hemsworth didn’t miss the chance to send him some brotherly love for the occasion.
The younger Hemsworth took to Instagram in the early morning eastern hours of his big brother’s special day to celebrate, but he made sure not to let the occasion go to the older Hemsworth’s head.
In the shot he chose to share of the two of them at a ski resort, Liam was crouched next to and looking over his big brother. Chris appeared to have recently fallen into the snow, but despite the ice packed perfectly into the shape of his beard, it didn’t hinder his ability to offer a cheesy grin to the camera. Patches of snow were also stuck to his legs and the zipper of his coat.
“Happy birthday @chrishemsworth Don’t change a thing. You’re perfect. Love you,” Liam wrote alongside the post.
While they were very much dressed the part of rival siblings in their reverse matching sets—Liam in a black jacket paired with army green pants and Chris in a green jacket with black pants—the teasing was all in good fun and has been going on for several years.
Back in 2005, Liam shared a photo of his dog, Tani, and her favorite chew toy—a Thor action figure with half of its right arm missing. A few weeks later, Chris defaced Liam’s Men’s Health cover, which then led Liam to do the same to Chris’s Vanity Fair cover just a few days later.
Every so often the trolling reignites, typically through Instagram photos and comments. There are still a few months to go before Liam’s birthday, so we’ll just have to wait and see if and/or how Chris gets his revenge.
