Liam Payne Assures Fans One Direction Will Reunite

Liam Payne has given One Direction fans something to hope for.

Fans were saddened when the British boy band decided to take a break. Members of the group have also dabbled in solo projects, making a reunion seem unlikely. Payne, however, has reignited the fans’ hope with a simple tweet. Answering a fan’s question about a possible reunion of the group, Payne said: “I’m 100% certain that we will.”

While he may make projects with the remaining members of the band, Payne is still going to work on his solo career. When a fan asked when he was going to release a record, the singer said “soon.”

Payne is not the only One Direction member to assure fans that they will still reunite. In an interview with Sunday People via The Sun, Niall Horan also said that the group will still get back together, adding, “We would be silly not to… ridiculous.”

Despite having a reunion in sight, Horan and Payne admitted the guys are enjoying their time to work on solo projects. “At the moment we are all doing our own thing,” Horan said. “Harry [Styles] wanted to do his movie and everyone is just chilling… I don’t think anyone needs to worry about us we are fine.”

One Direction members announced that they are taking a break in August 2015. There were rumors that the band was splitting up, but Horan and Louis Tomlinson assured fans that they are just taking some time off.

Zayn Malik, as expected, will not be part of the reunion. The singer just recently gushed about enjoying his time as a solo artist. Speaking with Elvis Duran, Malik said, “It’s a good place to be in.”

While Payne and the others have already assured fans that they will reunite, a timeline for their comeback has yet to be set.
