Library hosting film honoring local veterans on Nov. 6

Nov. 2—Veterans from around the area share their stories of their service in a special production by the Laurel County Public Library.

"Our Veterans: Their Stories" is an oral history straight from the veterans themselves, enhanced by photos in the film to accentuate their contributions to their country's heritage.

The film will be shown on Monday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. in the Library's auditorium. There is no admission fee and the public is encouraged to attend.

The film focuses on preserving the stories of the veterans and how their military service changed their lives. This year's edition features Thomas Crowl, Victor Edwards, Glen Hinkle, Dan Lisowe, and Juanita and Roger Wells.

This is the fourth annual production to honor local veterans.
