The library passport program prizes have arrived. This fun family or individual adventure begins when you visit neighboring libraries and collect stamps at six participating libraries to earn a prize. Peruse collections at several Northern Michigan libraries, check out materials if you choose then when you’re done, bring items to your home library and we will ensure those items are returned to where they originated from. This is yet another unique way to keep kids excited about books and reading throughout the summer.

Our summer reading finale party was a huge success! Katy BEE entertained, prizes were awarded, and fun was had by all. Thank you to the many readers who turned in reading logs, participated in special events throughout the summer reading program, crafted with us and celebrated at the finale party. Thank you to the parents, grandparents, and families for bringing kids to participate in our library programs. There is plenty of summertime left, grab a book, and relax outdoors in your hammock or lawn chair and enjoy the warm breezes of summer.
