This bright and bold fashion brand is opening at Garden City Center this weekend. What to know.
The Providence Place mall isn't the only Rhode Island shopping center getting a new store this weekend.
Lilly Pulitzer, the fashion brand known for bold prints and bright colors, is opening in Cranston's Garden City Center.
The store's grand opening is Saturday, May 11. It is the first year-round storefront in Rhode Island.
The Rhode Island location is also the first to debut Lilly Pulitzer's new logo, part of a "brand refresh," according to a news release.
Prizes and perks for first shoppers
Shoppers will find the new Lilly Pulitzer store between Sunglasses Hut and Mod Mama at Garden City Center, and there will be a special surprise for early birds on Saturday.
The store's first 30 shoppers will receive a gift with their purchase, and other perks will be available throughout the weekend.
The store will also donate 10% of its sales during the opening weekend to Hasbro Children's Hospital.

What does Lilly Pulitzer sell?
Though primarily known for their women's clothing, including the classic "The Shift" dress, the store will carry everything from sportswear to home goods. According to a press release, they will carry:
