Frozen custard scoops are $1 at Culver’s. Here’s when and what to know

Culver’s is doling out $1 scoops of its frozen custard, and it’s for a good cause.

On May 2, customers can receive a single scoop of Culver’s fresh frozen custard when they donate a dollar on Scoops of Thanks Day, according to the Wisconsin-based burger chain.

The annual fundraiser is back for its 10th year and benefits the Future Farmers of America and other agricultural education initiatives, Culver’s said in a news release. This year, the chain said it hopes to serve more than 153,000 scoops nationwide.

Customers can choose from two flavors: vanilla, or the returning favorite How Now Brown Cow.

Debuting at Scoops of Thanks Day 2023, the chocolate custard creation is “infused with Culver’s Signature Root Beer swirled with chopped Dove Chocolate and chocolate cake pieces,” according to a product description.

Donations can be made in-store, online or via the Culver’s mobile app, the restaurant said.

“Uplifting the next generation of agricultural leaders is something that means a lot to us at Culver’s, and we couldn’t be prouder to celebrate that with the tenth annual Scoops of Thanks Day,” Alison Demmer, senior marketing and public relations manager for Culver’s, said in the release.
