The Light is back on.

The Light of Day Winterfest, which raises funds in the fight against Parkinson's and related diseases, returns with the Songwriters in the Round show featuring Glen Burtnik and Bob Burger, Guy Davis, Jeffrey Gaines, James Maddock, Glenn Alexander and Oria Aspen, and Joe D’Urso on Friday, March 4, at the Outpost In The Burbs in Montclair.

The Winterfest shows were originally scheduled for early January but were postponed as COVID surged.

Later this weekend, the Light of Day Next Generation show is at the Stone Pony, and the Cover Me show is at the Wonder Bar in Asbury Park on Sunday, March 6.

Bob’s Birthday Bash, which often features an unannounced guest appearance by Bruce Springsteen, is Saturday, March 12, at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank.

The Birthday Bash has taken place at the Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park the last several years, but concerts at the Paramount and Convention Hall have been canceled or moved to other venues since late August, when Asbury Park issued a notice of default to Madison Marquette, the retail developer of the city's boardwalk, over safety concerns at the Paramount.
