Yes, Christ Jesus didn’t reject anyone; he blessed everyone, especially those in need.

The Samaritan was not highly thought of when Jesus was on earth. Nevertheless, Jesus used him as an example of someone who would help his neighbor in the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:29-35).

There are so many stories in the Bible in which Jesus expressed God’s love. Some were his forgiveness and protection of the woman taken in adultery, blessing the poor and healing the diseased, among other experiences.

When he was hanging on the cross, Jesus prayed, asking God to forgive those who were responsible. He turned to God, “Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do” (Luke 23:34).

Can we, like Christ Jesus, reach out with forgiveness, and help the needy of all ages, regardless of social status, appearance, sin or sickness, among other human experiences?

If so, then I believe we are a little closer to following Christ Jesus’ care for everyone who came into his presence. And I think our world would be a little better and brighter.
