Lightning Bolts Snake Across Sky as Storms Hit Denver Area

Several storms rolled across the Denver, Colorado, area on Wednesday, July 22, bringing scattered rain and warm temperatures, according to weather reports.

The National Weather Service (NWS) forecast a northward path for the storms, primarily over the mountains, and warned of wind gusts of up to 45 mph (72 km) and brief rain showers.
