Lightning Strikes as Storms Move Over Minnesota’s White Bear Lake

A thunderstorm swept over central Minnesota late on Friday, August 14, prompting the National Weather Service (NWS) Twin Cities to urge residents to “seek shelter” as the severe weather swept eastwards.

Lightning can be seen flashing through dark storm clouds in this video recorded by White Bear Lake resident Quinn Casey.
